The Daylight Company is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the launch of its first Daylight lamp which changed the way that crafters work forever. Ever since that first Daylight lamp we have helped people like you enjoy their hobbies for longer and in more comfort.
The Daylight Company was founded 20 years ago by Patrick Jacquelin from a warehouse in London’s Portobello road. He started selling blue bulbs to artists who used them to improve lighting conditions in their studios and compare colours in their true light. Many people liked the light and soon we started to design lamps for other crafts as well, for example sewing, needlework and quilting.
Initially we only sold the lamps at exhibitions, but our lamps are now available from a wide network of craft shops, shows and websites in more than 25 countries worldwide. It means it is now very easy to buy your next Daylight lamp.
